The MSI Wind Netbook is a series of ultra-portable notebook computers. First introduced in 2008, they became popular for their small form factor and long battery life. The original Wind model featured a 10-inch screen and ran on an Intel Atom processor. It came with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, and had built-in Wi-Fi and a webcam.
The Wind Netbook had a very positive reception by reviewers, who praised its portability and low price. However, some criticized the device for its small screen and keyboard, as well as its limited performance compared to larger laptops. Despite these criticisms, the Wind Netbook was popular among students and travelers who valued its portability and long battery life.
The Wind Netbook series received updates several times over the years, with the introduction of newer models that featured more powerful processors, larger screens, and more storage. However, the netbook market in general saw a decline in popularity in the late 2010s as tablet and smartphones became more powerful. The MSI wind series were eventually discontinued.
That was just a snapshot on the presentation of the techmuseum series. Indulge more into the history. Continue reading more about the present model, the MSI Wind Netbook here.
