The Toshiba T3200 has an Intel 80286 processor at 12 MHz and memory of 1MB up to 4MB. Equipped with a floppy disk of 3.5” at 750kB up to 1.44MB and an HDD of 40MB it ran with the operating system of Toshiba MS DOS 3.3 or Windows 1.1 version. In the computer division, best selling models of the series derived from the Pasopia series and the Txxx series sold internationally.
Toshiba Corporation is an electronics multinational conglomerate involved in different divisions through the years. Products and services included electronic components, semiconductors, printers, hard drives, batteries. The list among them also consists of power and social infrastructure, elevators and IT solutions.
Toshiba was considered one of the biggest manufacturers of personal computers, home appliances, even medical equipment. The corporation also featured Japan’s technological prowess, but a recent scandal and subsidiary’s filing for bankruptcy affected its reputation.
Unfortunately, a few years ago the corporation announced the split into three companies. Each one would focus on a different line on infrastructure, electronic devices and the remaining divisions accordingly.
