Morrow Pivot

The Morrow Pivot features a Harris 80c86 processor at 3.33 MHz and memory of 128 up to 512kB. Equipped with up to two floppy disks of 5.25” at 360kB it ran with the operating system of the MS DOS 2.2 version.

The Morrow Pivot features a Harris 80c86 processor at 3.33 MHz and memory of 128 up to 512kB. Equipped with up to two floppy disks of 5.25” at 360kB it ran with the operating system of the MS DOS 2.2 version.

George Marrow, member of the famous Homebrew Computer Club, was an early entry to the microcomputer industry. He designed, produced and sold personal computers under different companies. Older connections and acquaintances of him, later became grand rivals, such as the founders of North Star Computers.

Most products from the line were Z80 based. Nwere ones, like the Pivot line were IBM compatible. License for them was, actually, sold to Zenith Data for distribution as well as Osborne Computer Corporation.
