The Hong Kong based manufacturer EACA during the 1980s released a home computer series called Video Genie. Models from this product line featured easy software compatibility, reliability and overall smooth performance. Notable is the fact that they have been strong competitors to flagships like the Tandy TRS-80 Model I computer, of which, as considered, were a clone. Some Video Genie models were more business oriented, like the Eaca EG2000 Colour Genie.

EACA International Inc. was established in 1972, but the group of companies managed through 1983. The corporation liquidated assets due to grand debts at the hands of receivers.

That was just a snapshot on the presentation of the techmuseum series. Indulge more into the history. Continue reading more about the present model, the Eaca Video Genie III here.
