Apple introduced to the world the original Macintosh personal computer through a SuperBowl commercial video, called “1984”. During the years the company has made great innovations and the Mac series had undergone transitions. Regarding the processors from the powerful Motorola 68000 transitioned to IBM ProwerPC processors, to Intel x86 and now to Apple Silicon ones. Performance and power efficiency have been praised by the critics.
The name Macintosh was conceived after, what else, founder’s favorite type of apple, literally the Canadian McIntosh red green apple. Each model introduced to consumers presented friendlier user experience, top of the art aesthetic design and powerful architecture.
That was just a snapshot on the presentation of the techmuseum series. Indulge more into the history. Continue reading more about the present model, the Apple Macintosh Classic Color II here.
