Our aim is to make the history of technology accessible to everyone.

Reading tools

The Accessibility button lets you increase text size, enable high contrast, underline links and reduce motion. Your preferences remain in the same browser until you reset them.

Keyboard navigation

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move, Enter or Space to activate buttons, and Escape to close dialogs. The Skip to content link appears at the start of keyboard navigation. You can also use your browser's zoom.

Ongoing improvement

These tools support access but do not replace a compliance audit. A full independent WCAG audit has not been carried out. The accessibility of new content, documents and third-party services requires separate review.

Report a difficulty

A contact email for accessibility reports will be added for the final installation. Please describe the page, the difficulty and, optionally, the browser or assistive technology you use.
