The 5xxx series features similarities with the immediately preceding 3xxx series. Some features aim for more active individuals with music playback. Fun fact, after the 3000 series followed the 5xxx series as a sign of deference towards the Asian consumer part. Many East Asians are superstitious with the number 4, thinking it will bring bad luck and misfortune, that’s why they avoid it. Even in number buildings or floors they avoid the digit 4 due to the superstition.

The best-selling models include the 5110, 5140, 5200 Xpress music, 5210, 5310, 5800 Xpress music among others. The release of new models continued up until 2010, but presently some have seen rework, like the 5310.

That was just a snapshot on the presentation of the techmuseum series. Indulge more into the history. Continue reading more about the present model, the Nokia 5100 here. Alternatively, find more exciting stories here.
